About TanglaTangla is a town situated in Udalguri district of Assam. It is a culturally developed place. Tangla was earlier a part of the Darrang district. During that time Tangla was a centre of business of jute, beetle nut and rice etc. However, because of the agitation of the Bodos the glory of the place gradually decreased. Tangla was later made a town committee of Udalguri district.
